Installation and Shopify

Does Digitdeck modify my live theme automatically?

Storefront blocks and app embeds are enabled through Shopify’s theme editor; only the Merchant can publish a theme. Some A/B workflows may export a draft or require approved theme permission.

What happens when Digitdeck ships new code?

Server-side improvements normally require no reinstall and do not change an existing subscription. New scopes trigger Shopify reauthorization; material billing, data-use, or declared-behavior changes may require updated disclosures or Shopify review.

Billing

How am I charged?

Through Shopify’s billing solution after the store owner approves the displayed charge. Digitdeck does not store card details.

What happens at a limit?

The affected operation fails closed, existing data remains available subject to the plan, and the app shows usage and upgrade options. There are no undisclosed automatic overages.

How do I cancel?

Use the in-app billing control where available or uninstall through Shopify Admin. Shopify controls the invoice timing. See the Billing Policy for refunds.

Data and privacy

Does Digitdeck sell customer data?

No. Data is used to provide, secure, and support the enabled Service.

What customer data is used?

Only data needed by enabled modules—for example, back-in-stock email/variant, review content, referral state, or pseudonymous experiment events. The Privacy Policy contains the full matrix.

How are privacy requests handled?

Shopify sends authenticated privacy webhooks. Digitdeck creates encrypted access exports and deletes customer- or shop-linked records for valid redaction events. A requester may also contact the Merchant or Digitdeck with the store domain.

Where is data processed?

In the configured infrastructure regions of Digitdeck and the providers listed in the Subprocessor List. Cross-border safeguards are used where required.

AI and experiments

Is AI content published automatically?

No. Output is a merchant-reviewed draft. The Merchant must verify facts, claims, rights, and brand fit.

Does A/B Testing change catalog prices?

Template tests do not change catalog prices. Any supported price test must keep catalog and checkout aligned through a Shopify-backed mechanism and clear Merchant configuration.

Does Digitdeck guarantee statistical significance or revenue?

No. Results are decision support and depend on traffic, seasonality, other apps, and implementation. For help, send the store domain, module, time, and redacted evidence to digitdeck.servicios@gmail.com—never passwords, tokens, OTPs, or card data.
