Embedded admin
Digitdeck’s embedded Shopify admin experience relies on Shopify authentication, session state, and security mechanisms. Digitdeck may use strictly necessary first-party session storage and short-lived security state to authenticate, preserve locale, prevent abuse, and operate the app. Digitdeck does not use the embedded app for third-party behavioral advertising.
Storefront modules
Enabled storefront extensions may use local storage, cookies, or pseudonymous identifiers when required for referral attribution, experiment assignment, exposure deduplication, or shopper-requested features. A/B Testing can process page context, assignment, exposure, add-to-cart, checkout, and conversion events. These identifiers are designed to avoid direct identity where practical.
Merchant responsibility
The Merchant controls installation and activation of storefront features and is responsible for:
- describing them in its own privacy and cookie notice;
- obtaining consent before non-essential storage or tracking where required;
- integrating with Shopify’s Customer Privacy/Consent Tracking mechanisms where applicable;
- honoring opt-out, withdrawal, and region-specific signals; and
- avoiding unrelated advertising use of Digitdeck event data.
Digitdeck features should fail safely when required consent is absent. Strictly necessary functions, such as security, authentication, cart integrity, or a shopper-requested back-in-stock submission, may have a different legal basis.
Controls
Shoppers can use browser controls and the Merchant’s privacy choices. Merchants can disable the relevant Digitdeck module or extension. Requests regarding stored customer-linked information can be made through the Merchant or digitdeck.servicios@gmail.com with the store domain.
