Scope
Digitdeck may offer optional AI-assisted experiment ideas, page-variant drafts, copy suggestions, summaries, and related tools. AI features run only after a Merchant-initiated action and are controlled by plan entitlements and prepaid or included credits.
Data sent to AI providers
Digitdeck sends the minimum context needed for the request, which may include a Merchant prompt, brand voice, audience, forbidden claims, selected product/page context, and aggregated experiment signals. Merchants must not include passwords, tokens, payment-card data, government identifiers, health information, children’s data, or other sensitive personal data.
The applicable AI provider is identified in the Subprocessor List. Digitdeck uses provider API terms and account settings intended for business processing. Provider availability, model behavior, and data-location options may change.
Human review
AI output is a draft, not a fact, legal opinion, guarantee, or autonomous publishing instruction. The Merchant must verify accuracy, substantiation, brand rights, accessibility, pricing, and compliance before applying or publishing output. Digitdeck’s current safeguards reject or flag fabricated review counts, ratings, scarcity, stock quantities, statistics, or unsupported claims, but no automated control is perfect.
Prohibited AI use
AI features may not be used to:
- fabricate testimonials, identities, evidence, endorsements, or performance claims;
- manipulate or discriminate against people based on sensitive characteristics;
- make high-impact eligibility, employment, credit, housing, insurance, health, or legal decisions;
- create illegal, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or unsafe content;
- train competing models from Digitdeck output at scale; or
- bypass review, plan, credit, or security controls.
Credits and cost control
Digitdeck checks available credits before requesting generation and records actual provider usage afterward. Credit pricing reflects provider cost, infrastructure, safeguards, and product margin; credits are not cash, do not earn interest, and are not transferable between unrelated stores. Unless law requires otherwise, consumed credits are non-refundable.
Intellectual property
As between Digitdeck and the Merchant, the Merchant may use generated output produced for its store subject to the Merchant Terms, provider restrictions, and third-party rights. AI output may resemble other material or may not qualify for copyright protection. Digitdeck does not warrant exclusivity or non-infringement.
Transparency
Merchants are responsible for disclosures to shoppers when law, platform rules, or context requires notice of AI-generated content or automated processing. Digitdeck will document material changes to AI providers or data purposes.
