This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every Merchant, user, storefront feature, API request, and piece of content processed through Digitdeck.
Prohibited activity
You may not use the Service to:
- violate law, Shopify policies, sanctions, export controls, or third-party rights;
- commit fraud, impersonation, deceptive pricing, false scarcity, review manipulation, or referral abuse;
- send unsolicited marketing, evade consent or unsubscribe requirements, or use transactional notifications as advertising;
- collect or expose passwords, tokens, payment-card data, government identifiers, health, biometric, precise-location, children’s, or other sensitive data without written authorization;
- upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, probe other tenants, bypass plan limits, or interfere with availability;
- scrape, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing hosted product except as law expressly permits;
- submit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, sexually exploitative, or promotes violence;
- use AI features for unlawful automated decisions, fabricated testimonials, counterfeit evidence, or claims unsupported by the Merchant’s records; or
- conceal required disclosures for discounts, referrals, reviews, sponsored content, experiments, cookies, or automated processing.
Merchant safeguards
Merchants must moderate review content, configure lawful referral and discount rules, honor shopper rights, review generated content, and stop experiments that create misleading or harmful customer experiences. Tests must preserve checkout price integrity and may not discriminate based on sensitive traits.
Enforcement
Digitdeck may investigate credible reports, preserve necessary evidence, rate-limit activity, disable an affected module, require remediation, or suspend or terminate access. We will tailor action to risk and provide notice where doing so would not increase harm or violate law. Serious illegal activity may be reported to Shopify or competent authorities.
Reports should be sent to digitdeck.servicios@gmail.com with the store domain, affected feature, URLs, timestamps, and non-sensitive supporting evidence.
